These pictures are all from the SF and Fantasy Masquerade.

Paul Curtis as "Saruman the Many-Colored". The presentation included removal of a white over-robe to reveal the sparkly stuff beneath.

DJ Bass as "Anne Droid". There was no prize for best make-up, so the judges invented one.

Miki Dennis backstage, showing some of the detail on her "Dustwitch" costume.

"The Dustwitch" - the lighting on stage was not good for photography but sometimes a picture just works. Miki won Best in Class, Master.

Sadie Logan as "T'Lai the Vulcan". Sadie won Best Presentation, Master, primarily for her superb awareness of the audience.

Ruth Wilcoxon as a "Breton Lacemaker". Winner of Best Presentation, Novice.

Cathy Holroyd as "Trance Gemini" (from Farscape, I think). Nice wig.

A close-up of some of the fabulous detail on Cathy's costume. It isn't surprising that this won the overall Workmanship prize. Cathy was also Best in Class, Journeyman.
