Hugo Photo Archive

The intention here is to include a good quality photo for as many years' Hugos as I can get access to.

Presented at LoneStarCon 2, the 1997 Worldcon. Note the base in the shape of Texas. This particular Hugo was awarded to Gardner Dozois for Best Professional Editor.

Presented at L.A.Con III, the 1996 Worldcon. The searchlights in front of the rocket are battery powered and light up. Very Hollywood.

Presented at Intersection, the 1995 Worldcon. This is Dave Langford's trophy for Best Fanwriter. Many thanks for Dave for supplying the photo.

Presented at ConFrancisco, the 1993 Worldcon. The Hugo base was designed by Arlin Robins. This particular Hugo was awarded to Gardner Dozois for Best Professional Editor.

Presented at MagiCon, the 1992 Worldcon. The rocket is golden because MagiCon was the 50th Worldcon. This particular Hugo was awarded to Gardner Dozois for Best Professional Editor.

Presented at Chicon V, the 1991 Worldcon. Photo by Sheila Perry.
